Cindy Hall is a new member of our board, joining St. Francis CARE at the end of 2020. But she started as a volunteer with us in 2016. Being a lifelong lover of animals, Cindy knew this was the right place for her to be.
When Cindy isn’t at St. Francis CARE, she works as an occupational therapy assistant. In fact, that’s part of what brought her to us. She was asked to help our animals that needed a little extra medical attention and TLC.
“We don’t just take the cute and cuddly little puppies. We take animals that people are so willing to throw away. A lot of work goes into rehabbing these animals. They’re given every opportunity,” said Cindy.
One of Cindy’s dogs, Rocky, had been partially paralyzed, but the staff and volunteers at St. Francis CARE worked to get him on the road to recovery.
When she’s not here, Cindy likes to refinish furniture, quilt, and remodel her home with her husband.
