Low Income Spay/Neuter Progeam

St. Francis CARE SPOT (stop pet overpopulation today) is our low-income spay/neuter clinic. It was the first of its kind in Southern Illinois, and continues to serve over 10 counties in the Southern Illinois area today. You must meet our qualifications to have your animal seen at our clinic.

Limited number of appointments available. You must call St. Francis CARE to schedule your appointment. We do not have walk-in hours, nor can we take walk-in cases. We do not notify if we have cancellations, as we are run mainly by volunteers we do not have the staffing required to do this.

Qualifications:

Any cat or kitten presented for spay or neuter, must be given a rabies vaccine, if proof of current vaccination is not presented.  The cost is $5.00.
